Dr. Sunil is a qualified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon who has been in the said field of medical practice for the past 25 years.
He regularly consults for and is a referenced eye specialist and surgeon of high repute for other leading eyecare and ophthalmological institutions in the neighbourhood such as Comtrust Hospital, Kozhikode, Dhanalakshmi Hospital and Jyothis Eyecare, Kannur, Cooperative Hospital, Payannur and KVG medical College, Sullia, where he also is a visiting faculty member and research advisor.
He is also active in the academic and research arena with regular contributions in medical seminars, conferences and publications.

Education & Career
After completing his MBBS degree in 1991 from the TD Medical College, Alapuzha affiliated to the Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram, he proceeded to obtain an MS in Ophthalmology in 1995 from the C. H. Nagri Eye Hospital, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and a Fellowship in Retina and Vitreous Surgery (FRVS) in 1997 from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.
Following these academic pursuits, he worked for 4 years as a Medical Officer in Retina Services in the Aravind Eye Hospital at Coimbatore until 2001, when he decided to establish his own ophthalmic practice in Bela, Kasaragod, Kerala in the name and style of Koumudi Grameena Netralaya Private Limited (KGN). KGN which commenced in a humble way as a single doctor clinic with an administrative staff of two members is today a well-recognized name in eye-care and general wellness in northern Kerala and boasts of a daily turnover of 100 outpatients and 10 in-patients. In its campus at Bela, KGN has dedicated specialists, trained nurses, specialized instruments, a full-fledged operation theatre, pharmacy and medical store, optometric support, psychological counseling, canteen et al aside from investments in eco-friendly initiatives like solar energy and rain water harvesting schemes. KGN regularly carries out pro bono eye-care and awareness camps in towns and villages in the neighbourhood which have beneficially impacted the lives of the residents.
Holistic approach
Dr, Sunil is deeply into spiritual practice under the guidance of Pujya Guru Kamlesh D. Patel of the Shri. Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), Chennai and is a qualified and certified preceptor of the Sahaj Marg system of Heartfulness Meditation. These ideas and the experiences that have emerged from the Manonethra exercise have been advocated by him in medical seminars, conferences and publications.
Spiritiual training
Dr.Sunil been instrumental in carrying out spiritual camps and meditation sessions in institutions being schools, colleges, government offices and business and commercial establishments in northern Kerala.
Manonetra
In recent times, Dr. Sunil has commenced Manonethra (the eye behind the eye), a new initiative run through KGN, which is designed to be a unit to bring about regulation of mind through relaxation, meditation and character formation. Modern scientific research informs that most bodily ailments, including those of the eye, have psychosomatic aetiology and proper regulation of the mind and harmony with one’s being has a positive impact on treatment.

Shri. Gopakumar’s journey till date has been about combining and translating his experience and learning gained over his 38 years of professional experience as a business leader across a broad range of roles, responsibilities and functions in diverse industry segments into transformative leadership substance in a learning environment.
His multi-faceted assignments in areas and functions such as Projects, Business Strategy and Planning, Operations, Quality Control and Customer Service and Relationship Management have resulted in cross-disciplinary integration, savvy professionalism and visionary leadership.

Shri. Ms. Srividya Jayasankar

Ms. Srividya is a resident of Aluva, Cochin, a homemaker and a practitioner of the Sahaj Marg system of Heartfulness Meditation under the guidance of Pujya Guru Kamlesh D. Patel of the Shri. Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), Chennai. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics obtained in 1991 from the University of Calicut.
She has deep interest in developing a comprehensive system of education that harmonizes nature and nurture, instills discipline, warmth, love for life and the environment, and promotes character, behaviour and values that are progressive, contributory, compassionate and humane.

Ms. Rema Sunil

Ms. Rema is a resident of Kumaramangalam, Bela, Kasaragod and is also a practitioner of the Sahaj Marg system of Heartfulness Meditation under the guidance of Pujya Guru Kamlesh D. Patel of the Shri. Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), Chennai.
She has been assisting the work of her husband and integrates scientific temperament with the spirit of inner enquiry, inspires vision, drive, creativity and energy
